Each Spring, the young scientists at CMS will display their hard work at the annual CMS Science Discovery Fair. Students in the Third Grade up to the Sixth Grade, participate in the annual science fair.
Students are expected to explore a scientific topic or experiment. Then they are to plan and layout how they will experiment or research their topics, procuring the materials and diagramming their plan, and modeling and displaying the results of their tests.
On Friday, the students present their projects to one another. During the Saturday morning Science Fair, the student scientists are expected to stand by their science project and explain it to faculty, staff, families and friends.
