CMS Mission
CMS maintains the highest standards of academic excellence and dedication to the individual needs of the student. Our aim is to provide a carefully planned environment in which the student will learn and grow. The Community Montessori School directs all of the efforts and talents of its staff to the development of a total education program. Education, in all its varied forms, is seen as an aid to life. The principles of Dr. Maria Montessori provide the framework for program development in all areas. While academic development is an essential component in a person’s development, academics are seen as a necessary tool rather than the ultimate goals of Montessori education towards the total development of the child.
Community Montessori School is approved by the Association Montessori Internationale, founded by Maria Montessori.
